All That You Can't Leave Behind (Makeup wise)

I think that it's a great testament to how much you like or use a makeup product when it goes places with you. I recently went on a short trip to Seattle and this post is all about what makeup I couldn't leave behind. Sense it was only a short trip I only brought with me my favorites and everyday things I knew I would want to have.

So first off is the bag itself, you can't really take a travel bag of makeup without a bag right? This is defiantly my favorite makeup bag I own. This bag was part of a breast cancer awareness set that I got last October. It is a great size for smaller items and is good for shorter tips or if you are just taking a few favorites, however because it is a shorter bag it does not fit makeup brushes. I have a brush case which I brought my bushes in so this bag was perfect for myself.

My two favorite lipstick looks are a red lip and a berry lip. I planed what lipsticks I was taking based on the color of my outfits I had packed and I really only needed to bring two shades. The first red (Left) is Red Revival by Maybelline and it is a creamy lipstick and the lasting power is alright but I love the color. The other red shade (far right)  is NYX Matte lipstick in the shade Eden and this is one of my favorite all time lipsticks. It is a matte shade and has amazing staying power, however it dose tend to dry out my lips if I wear it for a whole day so I typically mix the two reds together. The berry shade is NYX butter lipstick in the color Licorice and it is a long time love of mine. The color is build able so it can be a lighter shade or a really nice bold dark lip.
These two are huge staples for eye makeup for me. The Urban Decay eye Shadow Primer potion is such a great primer. Even for days where I am not wearing large amounts of eye Shadow I still pop it on because it keeps your eye from getting tacky and it just dose a great job of keeping everything in place. The Shiseido curler is the BEST eye lash curler I have ever used. I have owned other curlers in the past that were alright and some that just straight up did nothing and but this one never fails me and dose not rip my lashes out.
For foundation I brought Maybelline NY Fit me (Dewy-smooth) and I don't really wear foundation on a full time bases especially if I am having a good skin day I just skip it all together but I brought this along with me because I wasn't have a good skin day or skin week or month by any means. The powder is Rimmel London Stay Matte. For bronzer and highlight I brought pur minerals compact because not only do I like the products also the two being in one compact was convenient for travel.
Better than Sex by Too Faced along with Clinique high impact mascara is is the mascaras I brought along, I brought two because I use the mini Clinique mascara for the bottom lashes and Too Faced for the top lashes. I have very roughty eyebrows and the Mayblline BROW drama brow mascara tends to keep them in line, so of coarse it had to come along.
The first pallet (Left) is the Love in Rio, night time  by NYX. I only brought this set for the black eye Shadow in it, which I use for lining the bottom lid of my eye. The second one is by Lancome and was part of a in store gift and the four colors are great for doing a brown smokey eye or just using the lighter colors for an everyday simple look. Also I use the dark matte brown color to fill in my brows.  The eye liner I brought is the They're real push up liner by benefit, and this is not only my favorite eyeliner but one of my all time makeup products that I own.
