Getting Glossy
I have never been much of a lip gloss gal, but recently I have
been trying out different glosses and actually enjoying them. I’m not sure what
it is about gloss that just does not appeal to me, I often find it sticky icky,
and my hair sticks to my mouth and that it is genuinely crazy-making. But these
bad boys I don’t only tolerate but love. The following are a variety of high
end to drug store, also I’m not sure where all of these are from but I will
leave links for all that I can find below.
(From top to bottom)
First off - Glazewear
Lip Gloss by AVON in the color rave. I have had this one for a long time
now and is actually the only one in this post that I have consistently used for
the duration I’ve owned it. It is not too tinted but adds a nice shine and glitter
coat. I typically wear this on top of a berry or pink shade lipstick.
-Pink frosted animal
cracker by philosophy. This one is new to my collection and was given to me
as a gift. This is not something I would normal pick but surprised myself when I
found out I quite liked it. My one complaint about this product would be that
the scent is on the too sweet side.
-Love & Beauty shimmer
lip gloss from forever 21. This one I just picked up while I was in line to
check out. For about two dollars this is an amazing product! I love the color
and unlike the item above the scent is one of my favorite things about this
gloss. This one is in the color peach bud, but apparently is no longer available
but the color coral/pink is really similar.
- Marvelous Moxie
by Bare essentials in the color Daredevil. I have posted about this gloss before
and guess what; I still love it just as much as I did then. This is a really
pigmented gloss and looks good on top of lip sticks or as a stand-alone.
-C.O. Bigelow -
Mentha Lip Tint (magenta mint). I actually
love this maybe most out of all of these. It is a slightly pigmented gloss and
the “Peppermint oil gives breath long-lasting freshness.” You can purchase this
and other C.O. Bigelow products on the company’s website or at Bath and Body
Works.
